Bio.

My name is Yi-Tsung ( Phillip ) Chen. I am a designer and developer focusing on optimizing the user interaction and usability of complex data-rich systems and decision-support platforms.

Currently building customized 2D/3D data analytics solutions @ Ansys (now part of Synopsys) for engineers to create dynamic reporting to support post-processed simulation analysis.

I am looking for a mid-level position in Front-end UI & UX Engineering with a focus on B2B system level or data-driven platform solutions.

My niche interest beyond UX - 📊 Data Viz

Besides advocating UX through design and development, I am very passionate about crafting data visualization solutions to extract actionable insights or great stories from massive amounts of data, including infographics and data dashboards.

One of my data visualization projects - The Great Sho, even won 🏆 The 3rd place infographic award in the MSUSND College Design Contest.

My long-term goal is to combine both my skills in UX design and the knowledge in data visualization to craft inclusive information-driven solutions for people from any background.

Fun things to do outside my work

I love to travel and capture epic moments through my camera, especially using black and white styling to construct the story behind every shot. I also love sports, regularly playing tennis while ocasionally joining practices in the Taiwanese softball team in NC, and always like to enjoy a drink afterwards.
